Why is my course showing as uncompleted when I have already completed the course?
While HCP Training has made recent improvements, it's still possible that you might experience course completion problems. Most completion issues are discovered after finishing a course, when you see the status remains Incomplete.
When you are actively taking any course using an internet browser, the course progress is saved and communicated to the ITK server continually. Normally with a strong connection, this works well. However, if you are taking a course with a weak or inconsistent internet connection, that progress data can get interrupted.
If your browser and the ITK server stop communicating (because of a poor internet connection), there is the possibility that your continued course progress will not be saved to the server. It may allow you to finish taking the course on your device, but the server no longer gets updated.
The result is that you finish a course, but the course status does not update and show complete. Additionally, if you resume the course, your saved progress could place you back at the start, or otherwise seem to have "erased" your work.
Solution: the main culprits are Wi-Fi connections on mobile devices. A smartphone on a weak Wi-Fi may lose connection many times during a session. ITK recommends you download the mobile app. Click HERE to view the how-to article.
