How do I use the mobile app?
These are instructions you may follow once you download the HCP Training app. This article will provide an overview of how to use the app.
Courses
The courses tab will display all of your courses:

To start a course, tap on the name of the course:

You will now see all the sections that are inside the course. If there is a "Download all content for offline use" button at the bottom, it means the course has not yet been downloaded. We suggest always downloading the course before starting! This is also what you will want to do if you are planning on doing your courses offline. You can download your course by tapping the download button. It may ask to confirm before downloading.

Once you tap the download button, each unit will start downloading. You will see green loading circles:

Wait until all the loading circles are done. You will now see each unit in Black and the Download button will be gone. This means that all units are downloaded and ready for offline use:

You will need to do the units in sequential order. Tap on the first incomplete unit to start the course:

Tap the play button to start/resume your course:

You can tap the button in the top right-hand corner to go into full screen mode:

You can tap X to go back to the course units:

You can tap the back arrow to go back to your full course list:

Search
You can tap the search tab to search for a specific course title:

You may then tap on the course to start the course:

Profile
The profile tab has some settings options and other information that give you a quick overview:

First, you will see the gamification points that have been awarded to you:

You will then see an overview of your course progress:

Scroll down and you will see your badges awarded from your gamification points

"Ask before downloading content on mobile data" allows you to control whether you want the app to ask before using mobile data to download content. If toggled on, it will ask if you are not connected to Wifi. If toggled off, it will use mobile data to download content when not connected to Wifi:

"Open web portal" is an option you may use when you need to do actions you can only do in a browser, like changing your profile picture or password.

"Email Support" will open a new email in your devices "Mail" app and allow you to reach out to our support team.

"On The Go" will give you access to our On The Go library for quick answers for caregivers. For example, if you need help knowing how to calm down a patient with dementia, we have an article on that!

"Support Articles" will take you to our Help Center for technical questions about the platform.

"Clear database" will clear all of your downloaded courses. This will not reset the progress on your courses as long as you connect your device to the internet before clearing the database:

"Appearance" will allow you to adjust the appearance of the app on your device.

And lastly, you can sign out:
