How to Complete Scrolling Modules

You may come across a different type of course in your learning path, such as a scrolling module. These courses will open in a new window and require you to scroll through the content rather than click through slides.

The first thing shown after opening your course is this green “Click to start” button. Click this button to start the course, and a new window should pop up. If you cannot see the new window, refer to our help article titled, “Why Can’t I See My New Pop-up Window for My Course?”.

The first page of the course will have a brief description of objectives, a course menu, and the white “Start Course” button. Click on this button to begin viewing the course content.

Throughout the course, you will be able to see the Navigation Menu on the left side of your screen. You may click on the section titles here to navigate to that section.

As you scroll through the course, the content will appear on your screen. At times, you will come across long green “Continue” buttons. Click on these to go on to the next sections.

Once you reach the end of a unit, you will see the title of the next lesson in the gray bar at the bottom of the screen. Click here to go to the next unit of the course.

At the end of every course is the 10-question quiz. To start the quiz, click the green words “Start Quiz” and navigate through each question by clicking Submit and Next.

You will receive a score for the quiz. If you do not initially pass the quiz with a score of 80% or better, you may retake the quiz by pressing the Take Again button.

Once you pass the quiz, navigate to the top-right corner of the window, and click the X to exit out of the pop-up window. This will mark your course as "Complete" and take you back to your learner dashboard.

Back in your learner dashboard, make sure the button at the bottom of the course has changed to say "Completed" and the progress bar on the right side of the screen is green and says "100% Completed."
